Professor Granger addressed his class: "If there are any dumbbells in the room, please stand up."

After a long pause, a lone freshman stood.

"And why do you consider yourself a dumbbell?" asked the professor.

"Well, I don't, sir. But I hate to see you standing all by yourself."
