Temporary office

There was a severe epidemic in town, so the doctor, in true medical tradition, worked around the clock by converting his kitchen into a temporary office.

But the crowds pouring into the place soon made it inadequate.

"Some of you will have to be vaccinated in the basement," he said.

The mayor stood up and protested, "Doctor, I want to be vaccinated in the arm or not at all!"
