Can you solve this riddle
Sir Reginald was riding in a New York taxicab when the driver challenged him
to solve a riddle.
"The person I'm thinking of has the same father as I do, and the same
mother, but it's not my sister and it's not my brother. Who is it?"
The Britisher thought a moment and gave up.
"It's me!" said the driver, slapping his knee.
"By Jove! That's jolly good!" said the Brit. "I must try that
on the chaps at the Club!"
A month later, Sir Reginald was sipping cognac with his cigar-smoking cronies
when he remembered the joke. "Gentlemen," he said. "The individual
I have in mind is not my brother, and not my sister, yet this person has the same
parents that I do. Who is it?"
After several thoughtful minutes, all the members conceded defeat. "Who
is it?" one begged. "Come on, Reggie! Give us the answer!"
Reggie slapped his knee in triumph: "It's a taxicab driver from New York
City!"
